Almighty God, who has given us this blessed Nation for our heritage, we humbly ask that in our daily life activity with others, that we prove ourselves to be your servants that are mindful of Thy favor and gladly do Thy will. Bless our Nation with honorable ministry, biblical learning and Holiness. Save our Nation from violence, discord and confusion, pride, arrogance and from every evil way. Help defend our liberties, and bring our people into one united Nation with liberty and justice for all people. Bless the multitude of people that come from many kindreds and tongues. Endow our Nation with the Holy Spirit, entrust in our elected officials with the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace throughout our states through their obedience to Thy Holy law. As our Leaders care for its people, show forth Thy praise in our Nations. In our time of prosperity fill out hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble do not allow our trust in Thee to fail.
All of these things we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The spirit also helps in our weakness. for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
