Scripture: Philippians 4:4-7 (KJV) Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be know unto all men. The lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

7Shiloh the bible teaches the redeemed that every day is holy to God. We are not to feel bad about anything because the joy of GOD is our strength. The words joy and happiness evokes visions of strolling hand in hand with the one you love, celebrating your birthday in your favorite way, and/or vacationing in ana exotic location. Church, everyone wants to be happy; in our society, this ideal a lifelong pursuit: spending money, collecting things, and searching for new experiences, but as servants of Christ, if we are only happy when things go well and we get what we want, what happens when loved ones die, health deteriorates, money is scarce and the party’s over? Will we still be happy? Will we still find joy in our adverse circumstances? Shiloh the bible says that the secret to us being happy and being joyful is grounded our relationship with Christ. People today desperately want to be happy but are tossed and turned by daily successes, failures, and inconveniences. Christians are to be happy and joyful in every circumstance, even when things are going badly, even when we feel like complaining, even when no one else is joyful because Christ still reigns supreme in our lives, and we still know him, so we can rejoice and be happy at all times. True joy is deep and strong, not superficial. It is the quiet, confident assurance of God’s love and work in our lives – that he will be there no what! Our happiness should not depend on what happens to us but on what happens in us – the transformation that takes place when we put our trust in Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit comes to live in us, giving us God’s perspective on life and all the ups and downs that come with it. Shiloh it is my hope and daily prayer that each of us act to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. Daily we suffer with him, sharing his death. We aspire to seek to know Jesus Christ more and more. We rejoice with rededicating ourself to finding real and lasting joy and happiness in our relationship with him. To achieve this goal, the bible gave a blueprint to follow,

The Blueprint is:

1.     Joy in suffering: Philippians 1:1-30

2.     Joy in serving: Philippians 2:1-30

3.     Joy in believing: Philippians 3:1-41

4.     Joy in giving: Philippians 4:2-23 May the God of hope fill you up with exceeding great joy, happiness and with peace, so that your lives are filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit.

May God’s grace be continually poured out into your daily living so that your actions will brim over with everlasting hope.
